Alpha Gamma was chartered on December 16, 1991. 

The chapter members participate in many different service and civic projects. Two of the chapters fundraising activities include pecan / walnut sales in the fall which support their charities and a Chili / Bingo activity held in January in which they choose an organization to support, including Grand Prairie First Responders and the Grand Prairie Co-Op.
